    In this work we make a research about the words of Nheengatu so that with it we may have a Nheengatu–Portuguese dictionary. In this dictionary we want to present well about this Nheengatu of today, but we also want to present about that Nheengatu of the past, because those books of the past written in Nheengatu, they are really good for with them also indicate those words that disappeared from the memory of the people, and they are also for us to know about the path of Nheengatu, from the past until the present days.
