'tastily written') etc. This use of вкусный is, however, recent, limited to certain cultural phenomena, and often considered as a style mistake or a vulgarism.

A new meaning is probably based on the figurative sense of the adjective вкусный, for instance in phrases such as вкусная проза ('tasty prose'). In this context, вкусный refers to something capable of eliciting pleasant sensations—akin to the experience of enjoying high-quality, aesthetically prepared, tasty food.
